Initially, there is no facility to pay the LIC premium amount using the credit card. So, one should make the LIC Online Payment through Debit card or Net Banking. But recently LIC India has provided an option for LIC Online Premium Payment through Credit card. So, one make use of this option too during premium payment.

LIC Online Premium Payment Procedure for Registered Users

 The Steps to Pay Premium through online for Registered Users are as follows

  • Login to the LIC Official Website.
  • Go to LIC Online Services section.
  • Click on Pay Premium Online Option available in Online Services Tab.

  • You will be directed to a page where you can see two options of “Pay Direct” and “Pay Premium through e-Services“.
  • Click on Pay premium through LIC eservices option.

  • You will be directed to a window showing the below Images.

  • Click on Registered User.
  • Enter your User Name and Password and give the Answer for the asked Question.

  • Now LIC e-Services Page will be Opened.
  • In that select Pay Premium Online Option under “Premier Services”.

  • Select the Policy Type and Premium Option.

  • Now Enter your Policy Details like Policy Number, Installment Premium, Date of Birth, etc. and click on proceed.
  • Pay Premium using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
  • A Message like “Your Payment is Successful” will be shown on screen.
  • With this Step, your Online Premium Payment of LIC is successful.
  • After Successful Payment, the Premium Payment receipt will be emailed to your registered E-mail Id.
  • Check it Once and Save it for future reference.

 LIC Premium Payment Procedure for a New User

The Individuals can also make LICOnline Payment without registration. If you forgot your user id and password during login, then you should retrieve the same which is a time taking process. So, if you follow this Pay Direct method, then there is no need to make payment through LIC Online Payment Login.

The Simple Steps to Pay Premium through online for New Users are as follows

  • Login to the LIC Official Website.
  • Go to Online Services tab.
  • Click on Pay Premium Online Option available in Online Services Tab.

  • You will be directed to a page where you can see two options of “Pay Direct” and “Pay Premium through e-Services”.
  • Click on LIC Pay Direct Option.

LIC of India Pay Premium Online

  • You will be directed to a Page of Online premium payment.

LIC Pay Direct

  • In that enter the details like Policy Number, Installment Premium, Date of Birth, Email Id, etc. and click on Submit.
  • Choose one of the available premium payment options and Pay the amount along with convenience fee and service tax which are different for credit and debit cards.
  • The Premium receipt will be emailed to your registered E-mail Id.
  • The Policyholder can also check the LIC Transaction Status through online.

How to Pay LIC Premium in Offline Mode?

You can also pay the LIC Premium in Offline Payment Mode. In Offline mode, the Policyholder has the option to choose the premium Payment Channel. You can pay the Premium amount in three options such as ECS, Bill Pay, and ATM. So, choose any one option and make the payment at LIC Cash counter itself.

  • If you opt for LIC Payment through ATM option, LIC Premium Payment Service is available in one of the following banks.
    1. Axis Bank.
    2. Corporation Bank.
    3. ICICI Bank.
  • If you choose the payment through Bill Pay option, you have to visit the Nearest LIC Branch. The Cash Counter Timings of LIC are given below.

  • Electronic Clearance Service (ECS):

In the Electronic Clearance Service method, the premium is electronically debited from your bank account on a stipulated date based on the due date of the policy.
