Death Benefit

  • 105% of total premiums paid excluding service tax.

Death Benefit

When unfortunate event of mortality before the maturity, while the policy in force, then the nominee will get the following benefits

  • If the death of the life assured occurs before the age of 60:
    1. Base Fund Value in which the value of units exists the Base Premium Account, or
    2. Base Sum Assured less all Partial Withdrawals, made within the last 24 months before the date of death, or.
    3. 105% of the total regular or limited Premiums paid.
  • If the death of insured occurs on or after the age of 60:
  1. The Base Fund Value in which the value of units in the Base Premium Account, or.
  2. Base Sum Assured less all Partial Withdrawals made within last 24 months before death or all Partial Withdrawals made after or whichever is higher the age 60.
  3. 105% of the total regular or limited premiums paid.

Maturity Benefit

If the insured individual attains the age of 99 years, then the policy matures at the start of the plan year. The maturity benefits equal to Total fund value determined using net asset value on Maturity Date.

  3. 105% of the Single Premium paid.

Maturity Benefit

The total fund value received on the maturity date of the policy. The insured can opt the settlement option. The policyholder can choose either Total fund value in instalments within five years or take the outstanding fund value at settlement period etc.

Grace Period:

If the Policyholder doesn’t pay the premium within the time, the company will extend the time to pay the premium is a Grace period. PNB Met Life Wealth Plans has a grace period of 30 days. Assured candidate can pay the premium within this Grace Period.

Revival Period:

If the Life Assured doesn’t pay the premium within the Grace Period, then the Policy will lapse. A lapsed Term Plan will be revived within the two consecutive years from the date of first unpaid premium. This Term plan will be revived before the expiry period of Policy term.

Surrender Value:

If the insured candidate wants to return the policy within the Minimum Policy Term, then the surrender value will be paid to the Policyholder.

Free Look Period:

If you are not satisfied with the Terms and Conditions of the Policy, you can return the PNB Met Life Wealth Plans within the 15 days from the Date of receipt of the Policy.

Policy Lapse:

If the policyholder doesn’t pay the premium within the grace period for the first three full years, the policy will lapse. In this case, there are no benefits will be payable under this lapsed policy.
